November 2009
In November last year the children in the Town's four primary schools were invited to submit entries in a competition to find a suitable logo for literature relating to the Town Plan.
Prizes were offered for the best logo from each school, with another prize for the overall winner. A prize was also offered to the school submitting the largest entry (expressed as a percentage of the school roll).
A sub-group of the Town Plan Steering Committee was given the unenviable task of judging the entries which they did before Christmas, and the results were announced to the schools last week. The winning school was St John's.
